'Whistle’u Bigil’u' from Suraj Venjaramoodu's Padakkalam out

The makers of Padakkalam, headlined by Suraj Venjaramoodu and Sharafudheen, have released the lyric video of the song titled 'Whistle’u Bigil’u'. The track is sung by its composer Rajesh Murugesan, lyricist Shabareesh Varma, and Suroor Musthafa. Rajesh and Shabareesh are best known for their collaboration on the Nivin Pauly-starrer Premam.

Padakkalam, directed by debutant filmmaker Manu Swaraj, is set to release in cinemas on May 8. Co-written by Manu and Nithin C Babu, the film also features Sandeep Pradeep, Niranjana Anoop, Saaf, Arun Pradeep, and Arun Ajikumar. Its technical crew includes cinematographer Anu Moothedath and editor Nidhin Raj Arol. Padakkalam is produced by Vijay Babu and Vijay Subramaniam under the banners of Friday Film House and 29 September Works.

Sharafudheen’s upcoming projects include Pet Detective, the debut directorial of Praneesh Vijayan, in which he reunites with his Premam co-star Anupama Parameswaran.

Suraj, last seen in a cameo in the Aju Varghese-starrer Padakuthira, will also be seen in a key role in Tovino Thomas' Narivetta, releasing on May 16.
