I'm Game, Dulquer Salmaan's new Malayalam film with RDX director Nahas Hidhayath, commenced production on Saturday. Antony Varghese Pepe and Tamil filmmaker Mysskin, who play prominent roles in the film, attended the pooja function in Thiruvananthapuram with other crew members. Dulquer shared a note on social media wishing the team "good luck and prayers for a fantastic first schedule." He is expected to join the sets by the second schedule. This marks Dulquer's comeback to Malayalam two years after the debacle of King of Kotha.

I'm Game, billed as a sports-based thriller, is jointly scripted by Sajeer Baba, Bilal Moidu, and Ismail Aboobacker. The film's dialogues are penned by Adarsh Sukumaran and Shabas Rasheed, who wrote the screenplay of RDX. Cinematographer Jimshi Khalid, music director Jakes Bejoy, editor Chaman Chakko, and production designer Ajayan Chalissery form the core technical team.

The film is produced by Dulquer and Jom Varghese under the banner of Wayfarer Films. Besides Malayalam, it will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.

Dulquer's upcoming lineup includes the Tamil period drama Kaantha and the Telugu film Aakasam Lo Oka Tara. He is also set to lead Soubin Shahir's next directorial, marking their reunion after Parava.
