Actor Shine Tom Chacko is set to play the lead in a new film titled Hussainte Olu (Wife of Hussain), the makers announced on Saturday through social media. The announcement was accompanied by a poster featuring a veiled woman against a richly patterned carpet backdrop, with the caption describing the film as a warm, humorous, and emotionally resonant tale set in the heart of Malabar.

Directed by Ajay Devaloka, Hussainte Olu is produced by Corridor 6 Films in association with Chackos Entertainment. The film, described as unfolding over the course of a Friday afternoon, marks another collaboration between Shine and Ajay. Notably, Ajay made his directorial debut with the 2018 film Who, which also featured Shine alongside Rajeev Pillai, who will return in a key role in Hussainte Olu. The upcoming film’s original soundtrack will be composed by Mohammed Ali. Shooting is expected to commence soon.

In 2019, Ajay Devaloka had also announced another film titled Aaraam Thirukalpana, led by Nithya Menen and Shine, though its current status remains unclear.
