Suriya 47 gains momentum with cinematographer addition: Reports

Meanwhile, Aavesham director Jithu Madhavan in talks to helm the project

There has been speculation about Suriya's 47th film, with Aavesham director Jithu Madhavan in talks to helm the project. Jithu has confirmed in a conversation with CE that he is in discussions for it. In the meantime, according to a report by Cine Loco, the film has found its cinematographer. Reportedly, it will mark the debut of Unni Palode, who has been working as an associate to Malayalam cinematographers such as Shyju Khalid, Sameer Thahir, and Gireesh Gangadharan. The original report also states most of the crew associated with Jithu's shelved project with Mohanlal are also associated with Suriya’s 47th film. Unni is yet to respond to CE’s request for comment on the matter. The film’s makers are yet to deliver an official communication about it. However, the reported update about the film is sure to excite fans who are looking forward to the collaboration between Suriya and Jithu Madhavan.

In the meantime, Suriya is in production for his 46th film, with director Venky Atluri and co-star Mamitha Baiju. According to reports, Suriya 46 will also star Raveena Tandon and Radhika Sarathkumar. Suriya also has Karuppu with director RJ Balaji in the pipeline, besides Vaadivasal with Vetrimaaran.
