Prakash Ulliyeri returns to film composing with Raveendra Nee Evide

Anoop Menon's new film Raveendra Nee Evide hit screens on Friday. Directed by Manoj Palodan, it is a drama centered around a senior scientist at the meteorological department, played by Anoop Menon. The makers recently released the first single 'Mazha Mazha', composed by Prakash Ulliyeri. Shankar Mahadevan has lent vocals for the song written by BK Harinarayanan. This marks Prakash Ulliyeri's comeback to film composing after a long gap. The film also features another song composed by him and sung by Hariharan.

Popular for his harmonium performances, Prakash Ulliyeri's collaborations include ghazal, fusion, and jugalbandi performances. He is also a recipient of the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi Award.

Raveendra Nee Evide is scripted by Krishna Poojappura, who has penned comedies like Ivar Vivahitharayal, Happy Husbands, Four Friends, Janapriyan and Husbands in Goa. It also stars Dhyan Sreenivasan, Sheelu Abraham, Suresh Krishna, Azees Nedumangad, Siddique, Major Ravi, Senthil Krishna, Sajin Cherukayil, Aparnathi, and N P Nisha. The film is produced by Abraham Mathew under the banner of Abaam Movies.
