The Fahadh Faasil starrer Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira will hit theatres on August 29, instead of the previously announced September 04, announced the makers through social media earlier today. "I guess we'll see you a little sooner than we'd planned," wrote the film's female lead Kalyani Priyadarshan. The announcement came with a new poster for the film that features Fahadh, Kalyani and Revathi Pillai’s characters. For the uninitiated, Revathi is known for her role in the TVF series Kota Factory.

Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira marks the sophomore directorial of Althaf Salim, known for the Nivin Pauly-starrer Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela. The film also marks the first collaboration between Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan as lead actors. It is touted as a light-hearted romantic comedy with a heavy dose of humor. The tagline from the recent first-look poster, "Their love story was perfect until the wedding," hints at a narrative that explores the imperfections and challenges in a relationship.

Production on the film has been wrapped after 140 days of filming. The film also stars Vinay Forrt, Lal, Suresh Krishna, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Vineeth Thattil David, Babu Antony, Noby Marcose, Vineeth Vasudevan, Saafboi, and Anuraj OB.

The film’s technical team includes Jinto George for cinematography, Nidhin Raj Arol for editing, Ashwini Kale for production design, and Justin Varghese for music. Ashiq Usman produces it through his namesake banner.
