The makers of Innocent, starring Althaf Salim and Anarkali Marikar, have released the second look of the film on Sunday. The new poster features both lead actors, who earlier shared the screen in Mandakini as a pair. It is directed by debutant Satheesh Thanvi and is billed as a comedy entertainer.

Innocent is scripted by Satheesh Thanvi along with Sarji Vijayan and Shihab Karunagappally, who has also written the story. The cast of the film also includes Joemon Jyothir, Tanzanian social media influencer Kili Paul, Azees Nedumangad, and Anna Prasad in significant roles. On the technical front, Nikhil S Praveen is wielding the camera, with editing by Riyas K Badhar, and music by Jay Stellar. It is produced by M Sreeraj AKD under the banner Elements of Cinema, with Dixon Pothudas, Najumudeen, and directors Ajai Vasudev and G Marthandan serving as executive producers.

Althaf’s forthcoming projects also include Anas Kadalundi's Manmadhan and his own second directorial, Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, starring Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan, set for release on September 4 for Onam.

Anarkali, meanwhile, is also part of Vala, a zombie film that reunites her with the makers and cast of Gaganachari.
