Dulquer Salmaan will be joining the sets of his upcoming Malayalam film I'm Game in August. Though the team commenced filming in early May, the actor was not part of the first two schedules in Thiruvananthapuram and Hyderabad. He will be joining the next leg of filming in Kochi. Along with Dulquer, the film also stars Antony Varghese, whose portions were shot predominantly in the first two schedules.

I'm Game is directed by Nahas Hidhayath, who debuted with the action blockbuster RDX. The upcoming film, also billed as a mass entertainer, has cricket as an integral part of the storyline. It is jointly scripted by Sajeer Baba, Bilal Moidu, and Ismail Aboobacker, with dialogues by Aadarsh Sukumaran and Shahabas Rasheed.

The film also stars Tamil actor-director Mysskin, Kathir, and Samyuktha Viswanathan. Its technical crew includes cinematographer Jimshi Khalid, music director Jakes Bejoy, editor Chaman Chakko, action choreographers Anbariv, and production designer Ajayan Chalissery. Dulquer Salmaan and Jom Varghese are producing the film under the Wayfarer Films banner. Apart from Malayalam, it is planned to be released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.

Meanwhile, Dulquer has Selvamani Selvaraj's Tamil period film Kaantha and the Telugu film Aakasam Lo Oka Tara in production. He also has a Malayalam film to be directed by Soubin Shahir in his lineup.
