12 years after Thira, Vineeth Sreenivasan is returning to the thriller genre as a filmmaker. Noble Babu Thomas is scripting and playing the lead in the film, which has been extensively shot across Georgia and along the borders of Russia and Azerbaijan. The team also filmed briefly in Shimla, Chandigarh and Kochi.

Noble Babu Thomas, a longtime friend of Vineeth Sreenivasan, had earlier produced Jacobinte Swargarajyam, Aravindante Athidhikal, and Helen. He also co-wrote and starred in Helen. As an actor, he has also appeared in films like Hridayam, Mukundan Unni Associates, and Philip's.

Along with Noble, the upcoming film stars Audrey Miriam and Reshma Sebastian as the female leads. Manoj K Jayan, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Babu Raj, Vishnu G Varrier, and Johny Antony will be seen in supporting roles.

The new film reunites Vineeth with cinematographer Jomon T John, music director Shaan Rahman, and editor Ranjan Abraham—the trio who were also part of Thattathin Marayathu, Thira and Jacobinte Swargarajyam. Vineeth's production house Habit of Life and Vishak Subramaniam's Merryland Cinemas are jointly backing the film, slated for release on September 25 during the Pooja season.
