The makers of Anoop Menon and Dhyan Sreenivasan's Raveendra Nee Evide? have announced that the film will hit theatres on July 18, sharing a new poster via social media. Directed by Manoj Palodan, who made his debut with the 2016 Asif Ali-starrer Ithu Thaanda Police and later directed Signature (2022), it is scripted by Krishna Poojappura. Krishna is known for penning comedies such as Ivar Vivahitharayal (2009), Happy Husbands (2010), Four Friends (2010), Janapriyan (2011) and Husbands in Goa (2012).
Billed as a comedy centred on its titular protagonist (played by Anoop), a meteorological department employee, Raveendra Nee Evide? features a supporting cast that includes Suresh Krishna, Azees Nedumangad, Siddique, Major Ravi, Senthil Krishna, Sajin Cherukayil, Sheelu Abraham, Aparnathi, and N P Nisha. The film’s cinematography is by Mahadevan Thampi, with editing by Zian Sreekanth and music composed by Prakash Ulliyeri. Presented by Sheelu, it is produced by Abraham Mathew under the banner of Abaam Movies.
Meanwhile, Anoop is also currently working on his next directorial project, headlined by Mohanlal.
Dhyan was last seen as the titular protagonist in Indraneel Gopeekrishnan and Rahul G's Detective Ujjwalan, which was the second instalment of the Weekend Cinematic Universe after Minnal Murali.
