Title poster of Vinayakan-starrer Perunnal unveiled

Shine Tom Chacko and Vishnu Govind are also joining Vinayakan in prominent roles

The title poster of the Vinayakan-starrer Perunnal, directed by Tom Emmatty, was officially unveiled on Friday. Its initial filming schedule is currently underway in Vagamon. Shine Tom Chacko and Vishnu Govind are also part of the film's cast. It marks Tom’s return to direction following his earlier ventures, Oru Mexican Aparatha, starring Tovino Thomas, and The Gambler, featuring Anson Paul.

Perunnal’s technical crew includes cinematographer Arun Chalil, editor Rohith V S Variyath, and music director Manikandan Ayyappa. Details regarding the plot and genre remain undisclosed. The film is jointly produced by Manoj Kumar K P, Jolly Lonappan, and Tom under the banners of Suryabharathi Creations, Jollywood Movies and Emmatty Company.

Meanwhile, Vinayakan will be seen next in the upcoming Mammootty-starrer directed by debutant Jithin K Jose. The untitled film, produced by Mammootty Kampany, reportedly features Mammootty in a grey-shaded role. The Kammatti Paadam actor's forthcoming projects also include the next film by Anugraheethan Antony director Prince Joy and the third instalment of Midhun Manuel Thomas's hit franchise Aadu. Both films are headlined by Jayasurya.
