Release date announced for Arjun Ashokan's Anbodu Kanmani

Debutant Liju Thomaz is directing the film, billed as a fun-filled family entertainer

The makers of Anpodu Kanmani, starring Arjun Ashokan and Anagha Narayanan, have announced January 24 as the film's release date. Originally scheduled to hit screens on November 8, the film's release got postponed at the last minute due to some unknown reasons. Debutant Liju Thomaz is directing the film, billed as a fun-filled family entertainer.

Arjun and Anagha play a newly married couple in this film, scripted by Aneesh Koduvally. It also stars Althaf Salim, Maala Parvathi, Unni Raja, Navas Vallikkunu, Mridul Nair, Bhagath Manuel, and Johnny Antony. Cinematography is by Sarin Raveendran, while editing is handled by Sunil S Pillai. Samuel Aby is composing music for the film. It is produced by Vipin Pavithran under the banner of KreativeFish.

Arjun Ashokan will be next seen in Ennu Swantham Punyalan, slated for January 10. The actor also has Bromance gearing up for release on February 14. Directed by Jo and Jo-fame Arun D Jose, it also stars Mahima Nambiar, Mathew Thomas and Premalu-fame Sangeeth Prathap in key roles. Arjun's upcoming slate also includes the horror thriller Sumathi Valavu, which marks the reunion of Malikappuram writer Abhilash Pillai and director Vishnu Sasi Shankar.
