Bhavana-starrer Anomie gets a release window, first look out

The Bhavana-starrer Anomie will hit theatres in April, announced the makers, along with its first-look poster, without specifying an exact date. The film also features Rahman, Shebin Benson, Arjun Lal, Vishnu Agasthya and Binu Pappu in pivotal roles. It marks the directorial debut of Riyas Marath, who earlier co-wrote films such as Neeli (2018) and Diwanji Moola Grand Prix (2018).

Anomie is produced by Dr Roy CJ of Confident Group, Aadith Prassana Kumar of APK Cinema, Blitzkrieg Cinemas, and the lead actor's banner, Bhavana Film Productions. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Sujith Sarang, editing by Kiran Das, and music by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, who composed for Sandeep Vanga Reddy's films Arjun Reddy (2017) and Animal (2023).

Bhavana was last seen in Shaji Kailas' Hunt (2024). The actor also has a Kannada film, Uttarakaanda, which has Dhananjaya and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles, as part of her upcoming slate. It also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Vijay Babu, and Chaithra J Achar in prominent roles.
