The trailer of Machante Malakha, starring Soubin Shahir and Namitha Pramod, is out. From the trailer, the Boban Samuel directorial looks like a family drama with a legal tussle involved in it.

Soubin plays Sajeevan, a KSRTC bus conductor, and Namitha's character is named Biji. The two meet regularly during bus trips, fall in love, and eventually get married. However, their married life doesn't seem to be very smooth. While the initial half of the trailer gives feel-good family entertainer vibes, it quickly shifts gear to a legal drama with Dhyan Sreenivasan in the role of an advocate and filmmaker Lal Jose as a judge.

Machante Maalakha also stars Dileesh Pothan, Shanthi Krishna, Manoj K U, Arya, and Vineeth Thattil in prominent roles. Veteran composer Ouseppachan, who is handling the film's music, is also playing a minor role in the film. It is scripted by Vikruthi-fame Ajeesh P Thomas, based on Oru Second Class Yathra director Jexson Antony's story.

Produced by Abraham Mathew under the banner of Abaam Movies, the film is slated for release on February 27.
