The makers of the Antony Varghese-starrer Daveed have dropped the lyric video of the first single titled 'Edakochi Ishq'. The song, composed by Justin Varghese and penned by Suhail Koya, has Shikha Prabhakaran on the vocals. Billed as a boxing-based actioner, it is directed by debutant Govind Vishnu, who co-wrote the film with Deepu Rajeevan, also a newcomer.

Antony plays the role of a boxer named Ashiq Abu in Daveed, slated to hit theatres on February 14. The film also stars Lijomol Jose, Vijayaraghavan, Saiju Kurup, Kichu Tellus, Jess Kukku and Mohammad Karakki, alongside a set of martial artists. On the technical front, it has cinematography by Salu K Thomas, editing by Rakesh Cherumadam and action choreography by PC Stunts. Daveed is produced by Aby Alex Abraham and Tom Joseph under the banner of Century Max John Mary Productions in collaboration with Panorama Studios.

Antony was last seen in Kondal, directed by debutant Ajit Mampally. The actor is also reportedly set to reunite with RDX director Nahas Hidhayath for a film headlined by Dulquer Salmaan. A sequel to Antony's hit film Ajagajantharam is also in the works.
