After making a memorable debut with Kumbalangi Nights (2019), a film that was celebrated nationwide, director Madhu C Narayanan has been conspicuous with his absence for six years now. He is finally making his comeback with a film starring Naslen in the lead. The director recently took to social media to share a casting call looking for actors to play the female lead's part. As per the post, the makers are looking for women between the age group of 20-25. It is also added that those who can handle Kochi slang will be given preference. More details regarding the project are expected to be out shortly.

Meanwhile, Naslen has a string of new projects lined up. He recently wrapped up the shoot for Dominic Arun's film, produced by Dulquer Salmaan. The Premalu actor will be seen as a boxer in Khalid Rahman's Alappuzha Gymkhana, a sports comedy, also starring Lukman, Ganapathi, and a bunch of other youngsters.

Naslen is also collaborating with Mukundan Unni Associates director Abhinav Sunder Nayak for a film titled Mollywood Times. This year, the actor is also expected to start work on Premalu 2, the sequel to his 2024-released blockbuster rom-com.
