Jeo Baby presents Swiss-made Malayalam indie Triloka, release date announced

Directed by Rajesh James and presented by Jeo Baby, Triloka is a community-driven project led by second-generation Malayalees based in Switzerland

Triloka, an upcoming Malayalam independent feature presented by acclaimed filmmaker Jeo Baby, is set for a theatrical release in Europe on January 30, 2026. The film will open with its premiere in Zurich, Switzerland.

Directed and co-written by Rajesh James, Triloka is a community-driven project led by second-generation Malayalees based in Switzerland. The film is produced by 4Emotions Entertainment, a newly formed banner led by Joji Thanthonichira, Nidhin Mathews, Robin Philip, and Suraj Mannancheril. It is the company’s first Malayalam feature. The banner has previously co-produced the Puerto Rico-based documentary Dirty Coin: A Bitcoin Mining, which has received recognition at multiple international film festivals.

The screenplay of Triloka is co-written by Vijy James. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Sandeep Abraham and music by Alan Shoji. It stars Robin John Antinkkar, Jason Kareedan, Suraj Mannancheril, Shaji Abraham, Lissy Abraham, Dini Kochatt, Jerry Kochatt, Archana Philip, Edwin Parayampil, Manju Kunnumpuram, Vijy James, and Rajesh James, with Jeo Baby appearing in a guest role.

Even ahead of its release, Triloka has been selected for several international film festivals, including the Global Cinema Convention in Delhi and the International Indie Film and Screenplay Festival in Paris. The project is also being supported by Switzerland’s National Swiss Films Organisation.
