Following a bumper start at the global box office, which saw it become the highest-grossing Dileep starrer for opening day collection figures, Bha Bha Ba has been having a consistent dip in collections over the last few days. Its net collections in India have reportedly been hovering around the 1 crore mark on the fifth and sixth days. So far on Day 7, the first Wednesday following its release, the film has grossed 0.59 crore from theatres in India, according to Sacnilk data. Overall, the film's India net collection stands at 19.24 crore, the data reveals. With newer films set to hit theatres on Christmas and beyond, trade analysts say that it is highly unlikely that the film will regain the momentum and earn more than its budget.
The film earned a gross collection of about 38 crore from theatres worldwide over the first six days. Even so, reportedly, its net collection is lower as compared to its approximate budget of 40 crore.
The film has earned mostly negative reviews from critics. In our review, Vignesh Madhu wrote, "Bha Bha Ba, a full-blown fan-service cinema, goes all out to celebrate Dileep and Mohanlal, but at the cost of trading narrative depth for euphoric moments."
