Ahead of its Christmas release, the makers of the Nivin Pauly-starrer Sarvam Maya have unveiled the character poster of Preity Mukhundhan, who plays Saadhya in the film. It is written and helmed by Akhil Sathyan, best known for his impressive directorial debut Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum.
Sarvam Maya is described as a musical romantic drama that revolves around a ghost, combining elements of fantasy and humour. Akhil Sathyan also serves as the film’s editor and has retained much of his core technical team from his earlier film, including cinematographer Sharan Velayudhan, composer Justin Prabhakaran, production designer Rajeevan and sound designer Anil Radhakrishnan. It also stars Riya Shibu, Aju Varghese, Janardanan, Madhu Warrier, Althaf Salim and Anand Ekarshi. Produced by Ajayya Kumar and Rajeev Menon under the banner of Fire Fly Films, in association with Akhil Sathyan Films, Sarvam Maya is scheduled to release in theatres on December 25.
Preity made her Malayalam debut earlier this year with Maine Pyar Kiya, opposite Hridhu Haroon. A Tamil actor, she is widely recognised for her appearances in the popular Tamil music video ‘Aasa Kooda’, composed by Sai Abhyankkar, and for her role in the Kavin-starrer Star. She was also part of the Telugu period drama Kannappa, which featured guest appearances by Mohanlal, Prabhas and Akshay Kumar.
