The makers of the Jayasurya-starrer Aadu 3 have announced that the film will hit screens on March 19, 2026. The update came on Sunday along with a new poster featuring the franchise’s titular goat across three timelines, past, present and future, carrying the caption: “When the past becomes the present the future changes the past.” The design further hints at the reported time travel angle. Earlier in the day, the team had also shared a celebratory poster for Jayasurya’s birthday, which carried a playful reference to the film’s fantasy elements.

Written and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, Aadu 3 continues the cult series that began in 2015. While the first film struggled at the box office before developing a loyal following on DVD, its sequel Aadu 2 became a major commercial success. The third instalment, announced soon after, faced delays owing to its larger scale and budget.

Produced by Vijay Babu’s Friday Film House in association with Venu Kunnappilly’s Kavya Films, Aadu 3 will also see the return of Vinayakan, Vijay Babu, Saiju Kurup, Indrans, Aju Varghese, Srinda, Sunny Wayne, Bhagath Manuel, Sudhy Kopa and Bijukuttan, among others. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Akhil George, editing by Lijo Paul and music by Shaan Rahman
