On Sunday, the makers of Aadu 3 released a new poster to celebrate actor Jayasurya’s birthday. The poster has a festive design with balloons and colourful lights, and the words “Happy Birthday” repeated across the background. Jayasurya is seen on the right side of the frame wearing sunglasses and a bright shirt printed with the same words. The text on the poster reads: “Pappoy… Happy Birthday to you in all worlds and all times!!” This line appears to hint at the time travel angle that is expected in the film.

Earlier, the makers confirmed that Aadu 3 is planned as an “epic fantasy” and also shared a short video showing the large sets built in Palakkad. Written and directed by Midhun Manuel Thomas, the film continues the Aadu series that began in 2015. The first film was a commercial failure but later gained a cult following after its DVD release, which encouraged the team to make a sequel. Aadu 2 went on to become a box office hit. Although a third film was announced soon after, production was delayed due to its larger scale and budget.

Aadu 3 is being produced by Vijay Babu’s Friday Film House in association with Venu Kunnappilly’s Kavya Films. The cast also features returning members like Vinayakan, Vijay Babu and Saiju Kurup, with the makers adding that more names will be revealed in the coming months.
