Antony Varghese Pepe's new film Kattalan was launched on Friday with a grand launch ceremony in Kochi. The event was graced by prominent personalities from the film fraternity apart from the team members. Debutant Paul George is directing the film, which is planned as a high-voltage actioner. It is produced by Shareef Muhammed's Cubes Entertainments, who last backed Marco. The makers also released a title motion poster.
Kattalan has Rajisha Vijayan as the female lead opposite Antony. The cast also includes Telugu actor Sunil, Marco-fame Kabir Duhan Singh, Kill-fame Parth Tiwari, Jagadish, Siddique, Anson Paul, Raj Tirandasu, Shon Joy, rapper Baby Jean, and Hanan Shaah. With the film high on action, the makers have roped in Kecha Khamphakdee, known for his work in Ong-Bak 2, Baahubali 2, and Baaghi 2, to choreograph the stunts.
Kattalan, positioned as a pan-India film, will have music by Kantara fame Ajaneesh Loknath, cinematography by Renadive, and editing by Shameer Muhammed.
Antony Varghese is also part of the upcoming Dulquer Salmaan-Nahas Hidhayath film.
