It's a wrap for Ganapathi and Sagar Surya's Prakambanam

Ganapathi and Sagar Surya's Prakambanam is directed by Vijesh Panathur, who made his debut as co-director of the Dhyan Sreenivasan's Nadikalil Sundari Yamuna

The shooting of Ganapathi and Pani-fame Sagar Surya's Prakambanam has been completed, the makers announced on Friday. The film is directed by Vijesh Panathur, who made his debut as co-director of the Dhyan Sreenivasan-Aju Varghese starrer Nadikalil Sundari Yamuna.

Set against the backdrop of hostel life among youngsters in Kochi and Kannur, Prakambanam is scripted by Sreehari Vadakkan from a story by Vijesh. The film features Sheethal Joseph as the female lead, alongside Ameen, Mallika Sukumaran, Azees Nedumangad, P P Kunhikrishnan, Aneesh Gopal and Sanesh Guinness in supporting roles. On the technical front, Alby Antony handles cinematography, Sooraj E S is in charge of editing, and Bibin Ashok composes the music. The film is jointly produced by Sreejith, Sudhish and Blessy under the banners of Navarasa Films and Lakshmikanth Creations, with Monsy Verghese, Dhilor Joseph and Rijosh George as co-producers.

Ganapathi was last seen in Khalid Rahman’s sports comedy Alappuzha Gymkhana, headlined by Naslen.

Sagar’s upcoming slate also includes Tom Emmatty’s Perunnal, led by Vinayakan and Shine Tom Chacko, the Indrajith Sukumaran-starrer Dheeram, and Sajil Mampad’s Derby.
