Shane Nigam-starrer Haal gets a new release date

The Shane Nigam-starrer Haal has been rescheduled for release on September 12, the makers announced recently on social media alongside the unveiling of a new poster featuring Shane and the film's female lead Sakshi Vaidya. Originally slated to hit theatres worldwide on April 24, its release was postponed without a new date until now.

Directed by debutant Veeraa, Haal is billed as a romantic musical entertainer. The film's screenplay is penned by Nishad Koya, known for his work on Ordinary (2012), Madhura Naranga (2015) and Thoppil Joppan (2016).

Haal also stars Johny Antony, Nishanth Sagar, Madhupal and Joy Mathew in key roles. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Ravichandran, editing by Akash Joseph Varghese and music by debutant Nandhagopan V. Produced by JVJ Productions, it will have dubbed versions in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.

Meanwhile, Shane will next be seen in the sports actioner Balti, which is scheduled for release on August 29 for Onam. His upcoming slate also includes an untitled film with Jeethu Joseph's former assistant Martin Joseph and Rosh Rasheed's El Clasico.
