The makers of Vala - Story of a Bangle have dropped the first single from the film, titled 'Ikleeli'. Composed by Govind Vasantha, the track has Arabic lyrics penned by Umbachy and is sung by Kashmiri vocalist Yawar Abdal. The song carries a distinct Arabian folk flavour, layered with groovy beats that give it a contemporary edge. The accompanying video weaves together shots of Govind and Yawar recording in the studio with glimpses from the film, featuring National Award-winning actor Vijayaraghavan and traditional Arabic folk dance set against a Middle Eastern backdrop.

Vala, helmed by Kadina Kadoramee Andakadaham director Muhashin, stars Dhyan Sreenivasan, Lukman Avaran, Vijayaraghavan, Shanthi Krishna, Raveena Ravi, and Sheethal Joseph in key roles. Billed as a comedy-mystery film, the film is written by Harshad, known for his work on Puzhu and Unda.

Notably, Vala also features composer Govind in his acting debut. The cast also includes Abu Salim, Navas Vallikunnu, Arjun Radhakrishnan, Shafi Kollam, Gokulan, and Yusuf Bhai. The film’s technical crew includes cinematographer Afnas V, editor Siddique Hyder, and production designer Arshad Nakkoth.
