15 months after its theatrical release, the Tovino Thomas-starrer Nadikar is finally getting its OTT release date. Saina Play has acquired the digital rights and the film will start streaming on the platform on August 8.

Nadikar is directed by Lal Jr and scripted by Suvin Somasekharan. It has Tovino playing the role of a film star named David Padikkal, who is going through a lean patch in his career. The comedy drama explores his desperate attempts for a success to stay relevant in the industry.

Nadikar also stars Soubin Shahir, Bhavana, Divya Pillai, Suresh Krishna, Anoop Menon, Balu Varghese, and Althaf Salim among others. The film has editing by Ratheesh Raj, cinematography by Alby, and music by Yakzan Gary Pereira and Neha Nair. Telugu cinema-based production house Mythri Movie Makers produced the film along with Godspeed Cinema. Though made on an ambitious scale, it tanked at the box office.
