The makers of Thalavara, starring Arjun Ashokan in the lead, unveiled the film’s second look poster on Sunday through social media. The new poster features Arjun speaking enthusiastically while the female lead Revathy Sharma listens with a smile, the two seated in what appears to be a lively street setting. Presented and co-produced by Mahesh Narayanan, it is helmed by Archana 31 Not Out director Akhil Anilkumar, who has co-written the screenplay with Appu Aslam.

Apart from Arjun and Revathy, Thalavara’s cast includes Ashokan, Devadarshini, Aathira Maryam, Sharath Sabha, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, Prashanth Murali, Sam Mohan, Hareesh Kumar, Sohan Seenulal, Shaju Sreedhar, Vishnu Raghu, Muhammed Rafi, Manoj Moses, Shebin Benson, Aswath Lal and Amit Mohan Rajeshwari. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Anurudh Aneesh, editing by Rahul Radhakrishnan and music by the band Electronic Kili. Scheduled to hit theatres on August 15, it is backed by Shebin Backer through his namesake production banner, along with Mahesh’s Moving Narratives.

Revathy was last seen in the Tamil film Garudan (2024). Going by the recently released single from Thalavara, titled 'Kand Kand', she appears to be playing a Tamil character.

Arjun, who was last seen in the recently released Sumathi Valavu, is also part of Chatha Pacha, alongside Roshan Mathew.
