Fahadh and Kalyani share a tender moment in new Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira poster

Scheduled to hit cinemas on August 29, Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan's Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira marks the sophomore directorial of Althaf Salim

On Sunday, the makers of the Fahadh FaasilKalyani Priyadarshan starrer Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira unveiled a new poster with the caption, "The forecast: a little rain, a lot of romance ❤️." In the poster, a gently smiling Kalyani looks at a shy Fahadh, who gazes downward, as the two share a tender moment under a transparent umbrella while rain falls around them. Scheduled to hit cinemas on August 29 for Onam, the film marks the sophomore directorial of Althaf Salim, who made an impressive debut with the Nivin Pauly-starrer Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela.

Billed as a light-hearted romantic comedy, Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira also features Kota Factory actor Revathi Pillai, Vinay Forrt, Lal, Suresh Krishna, Lakshmi Gopalaswamy, Vineeth Thattil David, Babu Antony, Noby Marcose, Vineeth Vasudevan, Saafboi, Anuraj OB, Amith Mohan Rajeswari, Ranjini George, Athira Niranjana, Varsha Ramesh, Riyas Narmakala, Sreeja Menon, Ala S Nayana, Gopu Kesav, and Baby Eithal Evana Sherin. The film has cinematography by Jinto George, editing by Nidhin Raj Arol, music by Justin Varghese, and production design by Ashwini Kale.

Produced by Ashiq Usman under his namesake banner, Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira is set to compete with other big releases, including Mohanlal-Sathyan Anthikad’s Hridayapoorvam and Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, which also has Kalyani alongside Naslen in the lead.
