Ranjith Sajeev-starrer United Kingdom of Kerala gets a new release date

The makers of the Ranjith Sajeev-starrer United Kingdom of Kerala have announced a revised release date of May 23. Written and directed by Upacharapoorvam Gunda Jayan (2022) filmmaker Arun Vaiga, the film was previously slated for release on April 17. Along with the new date announcement, the makers also unveiled a new poster on the occasion of Easter, featuring the lead actor alongside co-actors Johny Antony and Manju Pillai, in what appears to be a churchyard setting.

United Kingdom of Kerala also stars Indrans, Manoj K Jayan, Sangeetha, Sarangi Shyam, and Premam director Alphonse Puthren in key roles. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Sinoj P Ayyappan and music composed by Premam-fame Rajesh Murugesan. Details regarding the plot and genre remain under wraps. It is produced by Anne, Sajeev, and Alex under the banners of Fragrant Nature Film Creations and Pooyappally Films.

Meanwhile, following the sleeper success of Golam, director Samjad is set to reunite with Ranjith for an upcoming vampire action film titled Half. The upcoming project is also backed by Ranjith’s parents, Sajeev and Anne, who also bankrolled Golam.
