On Wednesday, the makers of the Tovino Thomas-starrer Narivetta dropped the video of the first single from the film titled 'Minnalvala', featuring the lead actor and Priyamvada Krishnan. The romantic track, composed by Jakes Bejoy and penned by veteran lyricist Kaithapram Damodaran Namboothiri, has Sid Sriram and Sithara Krishnakumar on the vocals.

Slated to hit theatres on May 16, Narivetta is directed by Anuraj Manohar, who debuted in 2019 with Ishq. The upcoming film, reportedly a political drama based on real incidents, is scripted by Abin Joseph, a journalist and short story writer who has won the Sahitya Akademi Yuva Puraskar award. The cast also includes Suraj Venjaramoodu, Tamil actor-director Cheran, Arya Salim, and Rini Udayakumar in prominent roles. It has cinematography by Vijay, and editing by Shameer Muhammed. Tippu Shah and Shiyas Hassan are producing Narivetta under the banner of Indian Film Company.

Tovino was last seen in Prithviraj Sukumaran-Mohanlal's record-breaking blockbuster L2: Empuraan.
