New poster of Unni Mukundan-starrer Get-Set Baby out

Unni is reportedly playing an IVF specialist in Get-Set Baby, billed as a comedy-drama

On Sunday, to mark Unni Mukundan's birthday, the makers of Get-Set Baby unveiled a new poster featuring the lead actor as a doctor cradling a newborn baby. The film is directed by Vinay Govind, best known for helming Kili Poyi (2013) and Kohinoor (2015).

Billed as a comedy-drama, Unni is reportedly playing an IVF specialist in Get-Set Baby. The film's cast also includes Chemban Vinod Jose, Johny Antony, Meera Vasudevan, Shyam Mohan, Surabhi Lakshmi, Muthumani Somasundaran, Sudheesh, Punya Elizabeth, Dinesh Prabhakar, Fara Shibla, Bhagath Manuel and Jewel Mary, among others. It is jointly penned by debutant Anoop Ravindran and Y V Rajesh, who previously scripted films like Gulumaal (2009) and Romans (2013).

Get-Set Baby's technical crew includes cinematographer Alex J Pulickal, editor Arju Benn and music director Sam C S. The film is backed by Suunil Jaiin, Sajiv Soman, Prakshali Jain and Sam George under the banners of Skanda Cinemas and Kingsmen Productions.

Meanwhile, Unni recently completed shooting for Marco, a spin-off of the Nivin Pauly-starrer Mikhael (2018). Directed by Haneef Adeni, the upcoming film is being touted as the most violent Malayalam production to date. Unni's upcoming slate also includes the long-delayed Mindiyum Paranjum and Gandharva Jr.
