Filmmaker-actor Anurag Kashyap and Rima Kallingal are set to headline the upcoming Malayalam film Delulu. Announced on the occasion of the Onam festival, the film also features Remya Nambeesan, Nikhila Vimal, Chandu Salimkumar, and Daveed Prakkat in prominent roles. It marks the directorial debut of Shabna Mohammed, who previously co-wrote the Manju Warrier-starrer Footage and scripted the National Award-winning film Vaanku (2021), starring Anaswara Rajan in the lead.

The crew of Delulu predominantly consists of individuals involved in Footage, including cinematographer Shinoz, editor-director Saiju Sreedharan, and art director Appunni Sajan, among others. The film, expected to begin filming soon, is backed by Pamparam Productions.

Meanwhile, Anurag's debut as an actor in Malayalam, Rifle Club, is currently in post-production. Directed by Aashiq Abu, the film featuring an ensemble cast is jointly penned by Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Karunakaran, Suhas, and Sharfu.

On the other hand, Rima recently completed shooting for Theatre. It is directed by Sajin Baabu, best known for the critically acclaimed film Biriyaani (2019).
