The second schedule of Tovino's upcoming film Narivetta has commenced in Wayanad. The film directed by Ishq-fame Anuraj Manohar is reportedly based on real incidents. It is the scripting debut of former journalist and Sahitya Akademi award-winning writer Abin Joseph.

Narivetta also marks the Malayalam acting debut of Tamil actor-director Cheran. Suraj Venjaramoodu, Arya Salim, Thottappan-fame Priyamvadha Krishnan, and Rini Udayakumar also essay significant roles. Meanwhile, Tovino also has Akhil Paul and Anas Khan's Identity, the Lucifer sequel Empuraan, debutant Shilpa Alexander's Avaran, and Saiju Sreedharan's Munpe in the lineup.
