Four Malayalam films, including Manjummel Boys, Aadujeevitham, Bramayugam, and Level Cross, have been selected for screening at this year's International Film Festival of India (IFFI). The Indian Panorama, a flagship section of the IFFI, picked 25 feature films and 20 non-feature films to be showcased in the festival.

Notably, Manjummel Boys is among the five films from mainstream cinema that have been chosen from a broad spectrum of 384 contemporary Indian feature films. Randeep Hooda's Swatantrya Veer Savarkar (Hindi) is the opening film in the feature section, while Ghar Jaisa Kuch (Ladaki), directed by Harsh Sangani, has been chosen as the non-feature opening film. The festival is scheduled to be held in Goa from November 20-28.

A total of 12 jury members for feature films and six jury members for non-feature films have selected the Indian Panaroma films for the 55th IFFI. While the feature film jury was headed by Dr Chandra Prakash Dwived, the jury for the non-feature section was chaired by Subbiah Nallamuthu.
