The trailer of Naslen's I Am Kathalan, which dropped on Saturday, promises a thriller on hacking and cyber crimes. Naslen plays a youngster, who using his hacking expertise, plans the downfall of Royal Periyadan, a firm headed by Dileesh Pothan's character Chacko Periyadan. Lijomol Jose seems to be playing an interesting character, entrusted with finding the real identity of the hacker, who goes by the name 'Kathalan'. Anishma, Vineeth Vasudevan, Vineeth Viswam, Sajin Cherukayil, Zhins Shan are also part of the cast.

I Am Kathalan is directed by Girish AD, marking his fourth collaboration with Naslen after Thaneer Mathan Dinangal, Super Sharanya, and Premalu. It marks the scripting debut of actor Sajin Cherukayil. Produced by Dr Paul Varghese, the film has Sidhartha Pradeep composing the music, Akash Joseph Varghese on the editing table, and Sharan Velayudhan behind the camera.

I Am Kathalan, which has been in the making for well over a year, is finally scheduled to hit theatres on November 7.
