On Monday, Ajayante Randam Moshanam (ARM) director Jithin Laal took to social media to recount his memory of seeing actor-director Prithviraj Sukumaran work on the set of Lucifer (2019). Back in 2018, Jithin had the chance to witness the latter directing the blockbuster film starring Mohanlal, a moment that left a lasting impact on him. “I could only watch him directing from afar then, but as a fan of his filmography, it was still an incredibly inspiring moment,” he wrote.

Fast-forward to today, Jithin has returned to the set with Prithviraj, but now as the director of the Tovino Thomas-starrer, a film currently running in theatres to continued success since its release on September 12. Reflecting on his journey, Jithin shared, “Now, six years later, here I am on the set of L2: Empuraan, witnessing him up close, calling the shots with that iconic ‘Roll Camera, Action.’”

Jithin's post highlighted the fulfilment of a full-circle moment. He described how he went from observing him as an admirer from afar to now standing beside him on the set of L2: Empuraan. The ARM director also expressed that his admiration has only deepened. “Still a fan boy, still inspired,” he added.

In recent interviews, Jithin has also hinted at the possibility of expanding ARM into a larger cinematic universe.
