Release date announced for Joju George's Pani

Joju himself is directing the film, billed as an action-heavy revenge thriller

Joju George's directorial debut Pani will hit screens on October 24, announced the makers on Saturday. Besides Malayalam, the film will also release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada. However, it is not yet known if all the five versions will be releasing on the same day.

Joju himself is playing the lead in Pani, billed as an action-heavy revenge thriller. The lead cast also includes Abhinaya and former Bigg Boss contestants Sagar Surya and Junaiz. Playback singer Abhaya Hiranmayi, Prashanth Alexander, Sujith Shankar, and Rinosh George also star in it. The technical team includes editor Manu Antony, composers Sam Cs and Vishnu Venu, and cinematographers Venu and Jinto George. The film is produced by Joju's own production company, Appu Pathu Pappu Productions, in collaboration with AD Studios and Sree Gokulam Movies.

Joju, last seen in Malayalam in Joshiy's Antony, is part of the Mani Ratnam-Kamal Haasan film Thug Life, Suriya's upcoming film Suriya 44 with Karthik Subbaraj and Anurag Kashyap's next directorial.
