On Tuesday, the makers of Biju Menon-Methil Devika starrer Kadha Innuvare released the lyric video of the song titled 'Kaalame'. The song, penned by Rajeev Govindan, is sung by Nithya Mammen and Aswin Aryan, who also composed the track.

Methil Devika, a renowned classical dancer, made her big-screen acting debut with this film. It is written and directed by Vishnu Mohan, who won the National Award for Best Debut Film of a Director for Meppadiyan (2022).

Kadha Innuvare was released on September 20 and opened to mixed reviews. The film also features Nikhila Vimal, Anu Mohan, Anusree, Hakkim Shahjahan, Siddique, Renji Panicker, Kottayam Ramesh, Krishna Prasad, Appunni Sasi, Kishore Satya, and Jordi Poonjar in prominent roles. It has its cinematographer Jomon T John, and editor Shameer Muhammed also involved in the film's production. Vishnu Mohan and Krishnamoorthy serve as the other producers, with Harris Desom and P B Anish credited as co-producers. Kadha Innuvare is a remake of the critically acclaimed Telugu film C/o Kancharapalem (2020).
