The makers of Sookshmadarshini have released a video showcasing the live recording session of its theme music, performed by a full orchestra and composed by Christo Xavier. The film, starring Basil Joseph and Nazriya in the lead roles, was released theatrically on November 22 to rave reviews from both critics and audiences. It is directed by MC, formerly known as MC Jithin, who made his directorial debut with the 2018 film Nonsense.

Sookshmadarshini is co-scripted by Libin TB and Athul Ramachandran. The film's ensemble cast includes Sidharth Bharathan, Deepak Parambol, Kottayam Ramesh, Manohari Joy, Premalu-fame Akhila Bhargavan, Aavesham actor Pooja Mohanraj, Merin Philip, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and Nandan Unni. The film’s technical team includes cinematographer Sharan Velayudhan and editor Chaman Chakko. It is produced by Sameer Thahir, Shyju Khalid, and AV Anoop under the banners of Happy Hours Entertainments and AVA Productions.

An excerpt from the CE review reads, “Backed by brilliant writing and clever casting choices, MC crafts Sookshmadarshini as a thoroughly engaging experience. What stands out is the refreshing treatment that doesn't conform to the genre formulas. With this, the director also announces himself as a talent to watch out for.”
