The first look for the Shane Nigam-starrer Haal was unveiled by the makers on Sunday. The poster depicts Shane Nigam and female lead Sakshi Vaidya in a romantic pose in what appears to be a foreign location, with a guitar by Shane’s side. Directed by debutant Veeraa, the film is billed as a romantic musical entertainer. It is scripted by Nishad Koya, known for writing films such as Ordinary (2012), Madhura Naranga (2015) and Thoppil Joppan (2016). Sakshi previously appeared in the Telugu films Agent (2023) and Gandeevadhari Arjuna (2023).

On the technical side, Haal has Ravichandran as the cinematographer, Akash as the editor, and debutant Nandhagopan V as the composer. Renowned Pakistani singer Atif Aslam has recorded a song for the film, which is produced by JVJ Productions.

Shane was last seen in the romantic comedy Little Hearts, opposite Mahima Nambiar. Up next, he will also be featured in debutant Unni Sivalingam’s untitled action film and Madraskaaran, the actor's debut in Tamil.
