Aashiq Abu's Rifle Club gets a release date

Aashiq Abu's multi-starrer film Rifle Club will hit screens on December 19, announced the makers on Thursday. Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Karunakaran, Suhas, and Sharfu have together scripted the film, billed as an action spectacle.

Its elaborate cast includes Dileesh Pothan, RDX-fame Vishnu Agasthya, Anurag Kashyap, Vani Viswanath, Vijayaraghavan, Darshana Rajendran, Vincy Aloshious,  Suresh Krishna, Surabhi Lakshmi, Vineeth Kumar, Ramzan Muhammed, Senna Hegde, Natesh Hegde, and rappers Hanumankind, and Baby Jean.

Aashiq Abu also serves as the cinematographer for Rifle Club, which has music composed by Rex Vijayan, editing by V Saajan, and production design by Ajayan Chalissery. It is produced by Aashiq's home banner OPM Cinemas in association with TRU Stories Entertainment.

Apart from Rifle Club, this Christmas season will also see the release of Mohanlal's directorial debut Barroz and Suraj Venjaramoodu's ED (Extra Decent). While Barroz, a 3D fantasy entertainer, is slated for release on December 25, ED is confirmed to hit screens on December 20.
