Vineeth Kumar is Shajahan in Aashiq Abu's Rifle Club

Directed by Aashiq Abu, who also serves as the cinematographer, the upcoming film is jointly penned by Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Karunakaran, Suhas, and Sharfu

On Monday, the makers of Rifle Club have released a character poster featuring actor-director Vineeth Kumar in celebration of his birthday. The poster, bearing the tagline 'Romantic Star', introduces his character Shajahan in a flamboyant avatar. Previous character posters have featured actor-director Dileesh Pothan, Big Dawgs-fame rapper Hanumankind, Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, and actors Suresh Krishna, Surabhi Lakshmi, Vani Viswanath and Vishnu Agasthya.

Directed by Aashiq Abu, who also serves as the cinematographer, Rifle Club is jointly penned by Syam Pushkaran, Dileesh Karunakaran, Suhas, and Sharfu. The film's ensemble cast also includes Vijayaraghavan, Darshana Rajendran, Vincy Aloshious, Ramzan Muhammed, Unnimaya Prasad, and directors Senna Hegde and Natesh Hegde. It has music by Rex Vijayan, editing by V Saajan and production design by Ajayan Chalissery. Rifle Club is produced by Aashiq Abu's OPM Cinemas in collaboration with TRU Stories Entertainment.

While Vineeth’s last directorial was the Dileep-starrer Pavi Caretaker, his last acting role was in Hemanth G Nair’s Higuita (2023).
