Parvathy and Urvashi's Ullozhukku gets a release date

The makers announced the release date along with the first look poster

On Thursday, actor Parvathy Thiruvothu and music composer Sushin Shyam posted a cryptic message on their Instagram handles. The message read, "No matter how deep you bury a secret, it will always surface." It has now been revealed that this message hinted at the duo's collaboration for an upcoming film titled Ullozhukku (Undercurrent). On Friday, the makers unveiled the film's first look and release date on their social media handles.

Directed by Christo Tomy, who is best known for helming Netflix's true-crime documentary Curry & Cyanide: The Jolly Joseph Case, the upcoming film will hit the theatres on June 21. The first-look poster features Paravthy and Urvashi in an inundated courtyard.

Ullozhukku is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Honey Trehan, and Abhishek Chaubey under the banners of RSVP & MacGuffin Pictures, with Sanjeev Kumar Nair of Reverie Entertainment serving as co-producer. Besides Sushin Shyam as the music composer, the film's technical team comprises cinematographer Shehnad Jalal and editor Kiran Das.
