On Wednesday, the trailer for Pattaapakal was released by the makers. The film is directed by Saajir Sadaf and written by P S Arjun. Billed as a comedy entertainer, it features Krishna Shankar, Sudhi Koppa, Johny Antony and Kichu Tellus in the lead roles. The trailer, which begins with a politician complaining about a theft that happened at his house, promises a comedy of errors, supposedly surrounding a shady business deal.

Pattaapakal also stars Ramesh Pisharadi, Vineeth Thattil, Prasanth Murali, Gokulan, Prasant Murali, Ashika Asokan, Kankol Ranji, Geethi Sangeetha, Nandan Unni, Reghunath, Vysakh Vijayan, Manju Pathrose, Aamina and Sandhya, among others. 

The film is produced by N Nandakumar under the banner of Sri Nandanam Films. Its technical crew includes cinematographer Kannan Patteri, editor Jassal Shaheer and music director Shaan Rahman.
