The final mixing of Althaf Salim and Anarkali Marikar's Mandakini has been completed, the makers announced on Sunday. The film, written and directed by debutant Vinod Leela, will hit the screens on May 24. It features the lead actors as a newly married couple.

Mandakini also stars Lal Jose, Jude Anthany Joseph, Ajai Vasudev, Jeo Baby, Ganapathi, Saritha Kukku, Jaffer Idukki, Ashwathy Sreekanth, and Vineeth Thattil in prominent roles. Produced by Sanju Unnithan, the film has cinematography by Shiju M Bhaskar, editing by Sheril, and music by Bibin Ashok.

Meanwhile, Althaf is currently shooting his sophomore directorial Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira, starring Fahadh Faasil and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles. He made his directorial debut with the Nivin Pauly-starrer Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela.

On the other hand, Anarkali is awaiting the release of her long-delayed film Gaganachari, directed by Arun Chandu, alongside Gokul Suresh and Aju Varghese.
