Actors Hakim Shajahan and Sana Althaf tied the knot in a simple, private ceremony on Friday. The two got married at a register office and shared pictures from the occasion on social media.

Hakim, who made his entry to the film industry by assisting Martin Prakkat in ABCD, is best known as an actor. After doing minor roles in Rakshadhikari Baiju, Naam and Nayattu, he grabbed attention with the viral short film, Freedom @ Midnight. He also made his Tamil debut with the critically acclaimed, Kadaseela Biriyani. Hakim's most popular role came in Pranaya Vilasam, in which he convincingly portrayed a character's two different ages. The actor's upcoming slate includes Shanavas K Bavakutty's Oru Kattil Oru Muri and a brief role in Mammootty's Bazooka.

Sana Althaf, on the other hand, is noted for her roles in Mariyamukku, Basheerinte Premalekhanam and the Tamil film, Chennai 600028 II: Second Innings.
