Cannes Xpress 2024: Jaffar Idukki's Poyyamozhi to be premiered at Cannes Film Market

Poyyamozhi, starring Jaffer Idukki, will be premiered at the Cannes Film Market on May 19, announced the makers.  The film is directed by Sudhi Anna and written by Sarath Chandran. Along with the announcement, a first-look poster of the film was also released. The poster features a naked man amid a forest. 

Billed as a thriller set in a mysterious forest exploring the journey of a hunter and his prey, Poyyamozhi is produced by Josekutty Madathil under the banner of Tiny Hands Production. The film also stars Nathaniel and Meenakshi Anoop in prominent roles. It was shot in Poombarai, Kodaikanal and Vagamon. 

Poyyamozhi has cinematography by Vinod Illampilly, editing by Akhil Prakash, and music by Biji Bal, who has handled the background score.
