In a recent social media post, filmmaker Akhil Sathyan hinted that Justin Prabhakaran will be composing music for his father Sathyan Anthikad's next with Mohanlal. It must be noted that Justin was also the composer for Akhil's directorial debut, Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum.

Justin, who is predominantly active in Tamil cinema, is best known for his works in films like Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, Dear Comrade and Radhe Shyam. He debuted in Malayalam with the Basil Joseph-directorial Kunjiramayanam. Justin is also the composer for Akhil Sathyan's upcoming film with Nivin Pauly.

It was earlier this year that Sathyan Anthikad revealed about his reunion with Mohanlal. According to him, the new film will be similar to their other works, narrating a rooted tale of a common man, but with a new treatment. Antony Perumbavoor will be producing it under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.

Interestingly, Sathyan Anthikad's other son Anoop Sathyan of Varane Avashyamund fame had also planned a film with Mohanlal.
Also supposed to feature the likes of Naseeruddin Shah, Shobana and Mukesh, it was planned as a road film, but the project's current status remains unknown.

Mohanlal is currently shooting for Tharun Moorthy's film, post which he is expected to resume works on Empuraan. His next release will be his directorial debut Barroz, slated for September 12.
