Exclusive: Kunchacko Boban reunites with Ratheesh Balakrishna Poduval for his next

The film will also star Sajin Gopu and Rajesh Madhavan in prominent roles

Director Ratheesh Balakrishna Poduval is set to reunite with actor Kunchacko Boban for his upcoming directorial. They both had earlier collaborated on the 2022-released film, Nna Thaan Case Kodu (NTCK), which was a huge success, both critically and commercially.

In an exclusive conversation with CE, Ratheesh revealed that his upcoming film with Kunchacko Boban will also star Aavesham-fame Sajin Gopu and Rajesh Madhavan in prominent roles. Sharing more about it, the director added, "I'm attempting something new with this film, which is envisioned as a psychological comedy." The film will be produced by Listin Stephen under the banner of Magic Frames. More details about the cast and crew of project will be unveiled along with the official announcement.

Meanwhile, Ratheesh is gearing up for the release of Sureshinteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridayahariyaya Pranayakatha (SSHP), scheduled to hit the screens on May 16. The film, featuring Rajesh Madhavan and Chithra Nair in the titular roles, is a spin-off on their characters Sureshan and Sumalatha from NTCK. Kunchacko Boban is also part of SSHP, reprising his character, Kozhummal Rajeevan.

The actor's upcoming slate also includes Ezra-fame Jay K's Grrr, alongside Suraj Venjaramoodu, and debutant Jithu Ashraf's untitled film opposite Priyamani.
