Machante Maalakha gets a release date

The film has Soubin Shahir, Namitha Pramod, and Dhyan Sreenivasan playing the lead roles

Machante Maalakha will hit screens on June 14, announced the makers. It has Soubin Shahir, Namitha Pramod, and Dhyan Sreenivasan playing the lead roles. The film is directed by Boban Samuel, known for films like Janapriyan (2011), Romans (2013), and Happy Journey (2014). 

Vikruthi-fame Ajeesh P Thomas has penned the script for the upcoming film based on a story by Oru Second Class Yathra director Jexson Antony. Billed as a family entertainer, it also stars Dileesh Pothan, Shanthi Krishna, and Manoj K U in prominent roles.

Produced by Abraham Mathew under the banner of Abaam Movies, Machante Maalakha's technical team includes cinematographer Vivek Menon, editor Ratheesh Raj, and composer Ouseppachan.

Meanwhile, Soubin Shahir, last seen in Nadikar, has debutant Sreeraj Sreenivasan's Pravinkoodu Shappu and Zakariya Mohammed's next directorial lined up.

Dhyan's upcoming slate includes SN Swami's directorial debut Secret, Jespal Shanmugham's Swargathile Katturumbu, Vinay Jose's Cop Uncle, Mahesh P Srinivasan's Kudumbasreeyum KunjadumDhananjay Shankar's Ba Ba Ba, and Nissam Basheer's upcoming film.

On the other hand, Namitha is awaiting the release of debutant Sanju V Samuel's Cup, alongside Mathew Thomas and Basil Joseph.
